Staying Silent and Stoic During An Injustice

Staying Silent and Stoic During An Injustice

When a betrayal or injustice occurs, our natural reaction is to want the imbalance to be made right on our terms and on our time frame.  This is totally understandable, however, any reaction you have based on the injustice will further deepen the imbalance.

The wise, disciplined reaction is no reaction.  Hold your tongue and fall back.  Move to becoming an observer of the situation rather than a participant.  Silence and restraint is where the true power and leverage are at.  Do not give them anything to use against you, even if provoked.  This will save you from making the situation worse and keep your hands clean from further persecution.  Remain steady, stoic, and surrender to the Divine order of justice and universal order and balance, because it will happen.  This is where your faith comes in, and you're being encouraged to lean deeper into God.  This is how your strength and patience are renewed and clarity on the situation is revealed.  The clarity you'll receive will give you deeper insight into the situation and prevent you from making a wrong move.  In perfect timing, you will be exalted and balance restored.

Someone asked me if I'm worried about sharing this type of information, especially with those who seem committed to opposing good and God's love.  My response is that those who are committed to evil will never be able to apply wisdom and knowledge of the righteous.  It's like giving a 5-year-old and a 50-year-old the same book to read.  The 5-year-old lacks the intelligence to interpret the information in the way the 50-year-old will interpret it.  People receive, perceive, and apply information based on their level of intelligence and experience.  It's really that simple.  This is why the old saying holds true: evil never wins.  There's a lack of awareness and intelligence that is missing from evildoers and those with bad intentions, and it will always be their downfall.  It's their blind spot and a weakness that they don't even realize is there.  But hey, ignorance is bliss until that wake-up call hits. Additionally, justice will not be served on your time frame but in Divine timing when all is in alignment for all parties involved.  Let the imbalance serve as a mirror to the one who inflicted the pain.  This gives them time to make the situation right.  After all, we all make mistakes, and our whole purpose here on earth is to learn from those mistakes and do better.  We all deserve grace while we are learning, and we all deserve time to make the situation right.  This is why it seems as if it takes forever for the scales to be balanced.  Time is a gift for all parties involved and ensures fairness.

However, sometimes there are people who refuse to acknowledge and take accountability, and are resistant to learning their lessons, even after being given the grace of time.  They choose to continue remaining insistent on hiding their dirty hands, rather than apologizing, repenting, and committing to change.  Furthermore, there are levels to this based upon the action and injustice committed.  Some actions are so egregious, bringing a harsher lesson to the individual.  This is all out of your hands, but take peace and comfort in knowing justice will be served.

The point is not to get wrapped up in wanting revenge or justice.  The hardest but most powerful thing you can do is forgive.  Our greatest teacher and inspiration for forgiveness is Jesus.  Jesus taught us forgiveness in the wake of injustice.  Forgive so you can move on in peace, knowing righteousness and Divine order are on your side and will always prevail.  You are the one who can sleep at night with a clean healthy conscious. Pray for those who have wronged you, because they do not carry the same peace.  Although they may appear to be unbothered on the outside, they are in turmoil internally, trapping themselves in a mental prison of shame, guilt, and fear.  Sometimes that alone is enough to bring balance.  Justice isn't always visible, which is another reason you must ascend higher and move in peace and love away from worrying about someone else's karma.  You don't know what's going on behind the scenes and how order and balance were or will be restored.  Elevate yourself away from the toxicity and let God do his work.  All will work out in due time.  Righteousness and truth will ALWAYS prevail.

“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”
