Soul Growth

Soul Growth

When we turn down opportunities to learn from our mistakes and better ourselves, our soul pays the price.  The soul is what is calling in the event and the opportunity to evolve.  When you allow your ego to take over and refuse to accept accountability, do better, and evolve, in the end, it's you that suffers by not living the life and calling you are destined to live.

There is a higher path and purpose called upon every single one of us.  As we go through experiences in life, even those random events, we are being called to evolve by learning the lesson the experience is bringing in.  That's why during hard times, it's proactive to ask ourselves, "What is this experience trying to show me or teach me?"  This helps us get what we need from the situation and ascend as souls.  If we refuse to look at ourselves and the ways we can do better, we aren't evolving, and the lesson will come back around again and again in different ways until we learn it.

For humanity, it's important that we all evolve.  Can you imagine a world full of unhealed, entitled individuals who refuse to learn or grow?  It would eventually lead to our collective destruction.  We need those courageous ones who are choosing evolution even in the face of adversity to help lead the way.

If you stay stuck repeating the same mistakes and cycles, you are limiting yourself from greater opportunities that are waiting on the other side of the lesson.  When you take the time to self-reflect, learn, and apply that lesson to your life by making the necessary changes, new doors open, and you begin to go down a more fulfilling life path.  A path that you couldn't even conceive of prior to your growth.  That's how surrendering to God's plan and flowing gently down the stream with the Divine works.  It's a dance of surrendering, trust, revelation, and evolution.  When you grow towards the higher path designed for you, you receive new blessings and opportunities that shape you into a better person, living a better life.  And I'm not just talking financially or materially.  Our life transforms on all levels, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, materially, and physically.  If you don't have these aligned, it doesn't matter who you are, you will not feel fulfilled.  Your soul will cry out, trying to get your attention through your unhappiness and the nagging feeling of discontentment.  This is why you hear about celebrities who are unhappy.  Even those who appear to have it all are unhappy.  It's not always about having the money and material items.  There's much more to being content with life and grateful for all that's in it.

But living a fulfilled life requires us to put in the work.  If God gave us everything we wanted without having to work for it, we wouldn't appreciate it and would eventually misuse or dispose of the blessing.  It's a give and take, so we can fully recognize and appreciate the blessings when they're right in front of us, and so we don't lose them when we have them.  You reading this post is your green light.  It's go time. Walk humbly, put in the work, and enjoy the ride!
